At Cheela Plains, dinner is about coming together. Guests gather around shared tables to enjoy a relaxed, 2-course set menu inspired by authentic French rustic cuisine. It is a time relax, meet fellow travelers, and swap stories.
For our station room- and main campground guests. Each meal comes with one complimentary beer, wine, or soft drink. Since we are an unlicensed venue, you are welcome to BYO your favorite drinks to enjoy alongside your meal.
We take pride in serving quality meals in the remote outback, though our menu changes based on fresh produce availability. We gladly cater to dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian dietary needs, just let our reception team know in advance. For any other dietary requests, please get in touch before your arrival.

Burger Night at Cheela Plains
Sundays at Cheela Plains are all about gathering around the fire pit for our weekly burger night. Every Sunday at 6:30 PM, we fire up the communal campfire to serve cooked-over-coals beef burgers on freshly made damper buns, complete with a range of sides and sauces so you can build your own.
At $17 per burger, it is a relaxed, casual evening under the outback sky. We also offer a vegetarian, gluten free, or dairy free option. You can bring along your own camp chair, plate, and drinks for the fire.

We are forever grateful to our suppliers who ensure that we are delivered quality produce in the outback! However, due to our location our menu is subject to availability.
Your furry friends are welcome in our alfresco area.
Remember to be safe and travel with ample water and fuel. We do not supply water to non-staying guests nor do we sell fuel.

The Red Plains Cafe welcomes all travellers heading along the Nanutarra-Munjina road (HWY 136). Whether it's tourists heading to Karijini or Ningaloo or workers heading to Paraburdoo or Tom Price.
The cafe is open daily from 7:00am-2:00pm.
